2011 tarpon season is over for me and all I can say is that it was a great season. The fish showed up early due to a warm spring and in return things started to dry up early with a few fish still trickling through. There was a lot of cool things that happened this summer, Â a lot of exploration with tons of success! These things make for a ton of excitement for 2012 poon season. Really looking forward to the upcoming fall/winter red fishing. If this season is half as good as the last it will be awesome.

Migration seems to be almost in full swing. Seeing really good numbers of fish and putting a bunch in the air….

Fish are starting to come through pretty good. We are getting more shots every day. Jumped one and had a few other eaters yesterday. Today we jumped two in the 90-100 lb range and had two other eats that we should have stuck. Looking forward to tomorrow. Tight Lines.
